Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council

The Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC) integrates social and economic development programs to meet the needs of residents of our neighborhood and the greater Southwest Side.

About

The BYNC manages four Special Service Areas (SSA # 7, 10, 13 & 39) and serves as a delegate agency for the City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) and the Department of Planning and Development (DPD).  We currently offer the Neighborhood Business Development Center program through BACP and the Retail Thrive Zone program through DPD.  Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or a current business owner, the BYNC can assist you with all your business needs.
