1921 Coworking and Incubator, or 1921 for short, is named after the Black Wall Street in Tulsa, OK back in 1921. Back then, this was a community of over 600 Black-owned businesses in what was considered a "self-contained" hub and community for Black Americans in a time when Black Americans were not allowed to patronize white businesses.
Our goal, once open, is to recreate the spirit of Black Wall Street and increase economic and developmental growth in the community. In addition to providing coworking space and tech incubation, 1921 will provide multiple programming initiatives in addition to coworking space and tech incubation. We have upcoming programing for IT Certifications, Franchise Incubation and Young Tech Initiatives.
Our Mission: 1921 will act as a history lesson for all who visit and an inspiration for minority entrepreneurs.
